New York - FINALLY!!

Yippy!! I finally made it to New York City... Even Better- I went for Work!! I was given the opportunity to travel to the ENK Market for Children's wear and all things kiddos..Amazing. Although, my days were filled with Sales chatter and card collecting followed with alot of standing and order taking...I did manage to explore the sites with my partner in crime Shyanne- who also went to New York with me for the first time... Here we are 2 women with a HUGE AGENDA of where we Had to GO!!! I think we did it all or atleast what we had our minds to do... not to mention some minor workouts in between ( thanks to ALL the power walking we did)... I experienced the Subway (gross) pizza on the corner ( 1.00 and YuMmY) taxi ride ( very easy to flag down) and midnight shopping ( who would have thunk it).. All in all Fantastic and definitely want to go back.... 3 days after i got home i turned 35- Oh Joy! it came it went and that's about all i need to say about that except for the fact i had some great friends treat me to a very yummy dinner at Ztejas followed with a movie that i laughed all the way thru..:) Now I am on to Skyler's Dance competitions and lots more travels to St. George (girls weekend ), Palm Springs ( Stage Coach) and who knows what else I can muster... until then Fabulous thoughts and great adventures to all... But before you leave my simple little post check out some of my fun pics that i am about to share...:)

And the ending of 2010....

In the Middle...

To Start off with.....

So Catching up is on the Agenda!!!

First of all.... My computer crashed WAY WAY WAY back in November so there has been no blogging for me.... Well with that said lets catch up...
The holidays Came and Went - Literally!! I think I blinked and it was over.... I really hate that because I love the holidays and all the fun things you can do and all the super fantastic memories you create but lets just hope my mind grabbed them all..... January started out Great and then slowly turned out Crazy as well as hectic... The kiddos got totally back into the swing of school, dance, band, and everything else.... We went and tried our hand at ice skating..Wow super fun but very hard to teach the kiddos all by myself and not to mention the day was ice cold - SO we called it quits and headed next door for some Serious Pizza and music - Ahhh Much better... Then next came Car Accident... SCARY for all... I was taking the kiddos to school when a lady turned right in front of us and i hit her head on going 40mph.. Tallyn was in the front seat with me and I think my child's bruise was due to his mother Karate chopping his chest ( like all moms do when you need to stop quick) to hold him back- as if that would really help... But needless to say I was SOOOOO grateful that Tallyn nor Skyler were hurt  ( just a few bumps) Me, well i did a major number on my back and neck and find myself Now in therapy twice a week...NOT FUN!!!  I got my car back- runs not so good but at least it works although seeing how it was new is a bummer for me and hopes of selling it anytime soon...... So then we are into February and well Wow- did we even have February?? Really, Seriously- did we? I have been Slammed with work ( of course LOVE IT) and all my clients are keeping me running all over the place which I absolutely LOVE... I am even coming to the conclusion that I love Kaysville...ha ha - yes all but one client live up there so i drive their alot.... Now come march and it is starting out with a bang!! Yes... I am going to New York.... oh yea a childhood dream comes true... I will not be spending to much time on the fantastic Streets or too much shopping all the fabulous Stores but that's okay- less money spent for me..lol But I will be there hosting a booth with my cute co-worker and friend Shyanne. We are headed there for Persnickety clothing- Yes I do this too and love it!! I am so excited to say that our once little shop in the South towne mall that struggled to stay up and running.. Did Close... I had a brief time where i was out of a job... but then jumped right back in because our owners went to market and tried the clothing line in a wholesale environment and landed a huge retailer of children's clothing.. Chasing fireflies... with all that said we started with 40 shops (mostly in the south- which I knew would happen) and have now grown to over 175 stores across the country and growing Daily.... The Rickenbah Family has had great success and Corine is amazing in her designs and I am amazed at how they just keep getting better and better- Wow- such a talent!!!  Needless to say- even though i have two totally different careers in my life I really do love Both.. when the time comes for me to choose one i am not sure how i will but for now Grateful is all i am....
Ugh, my dreaded birthday is soon to arrive and the thought of getting another year older is killing me.... It can come and go without a word and i will be Just Fine:) We are also entering in to Skylers Competition time for Dance so many weekends are ahead of us for traveling around the valley watching hours and hours of dancers compete... I get a high watching her preform as well as choked up EVERY SINGLE TIME... why- well I am so proud of her doing this and loving it as much as i did as a child but more than that I cannot believe how she has grown up so fast.... Last night she fell asleep on my lap and I just watched her and thought to myself, she is not a baby anymore and she is turning 8...where did it go?? Tallyn said to me the other day.." Mom, can you even stand it, you are going to have an 8 yr old and a teenager in just a few months"... I replied- or shall i say was quiet... Yes folks- I, Me, had nothing to say... I cannot believe it and do not Want to believe it.... I think that this is when it starts to be hard to be a parent - we have to watch our kiddos grow up, learn mistakes on their own, find out new ways to do better( on their own), and watch them HOPEFULLY flourish into outstanding individuals with Always Good intentions.....
I have huge plans, hopes, and many adventures planned for this remaining year and Hope to be able to Conquer them all.... I hope you All have a fantastic day and Thanks for taking the time to read my thoughts!!!
I will post some pictures Today and more to come:)

Halloween Fright...

Okay, Okay, so since we live in UTAH and as much as I may not agree the Jury Says... Halloween falls on Sunday so Utah will celebrate on Saturday... The day started out dreary in the skies which made me a bit nervous for my sweet kiddos and the events for the Eve.... the day went on and the skies grew darker and THEN... RaIn- RaIn- RaIn.... I was SOOOOO bummed... I got dinner all fixed with the hopes that atleast their tummies would be full and warm ( all why hoping the rain would stop) and then just as we were finishing our Traditional Soup... IT CLEARED!!!! Well trickles here and there but We didn't care... Upstairs we ran to paint faces and get dressed all warm and then out with the Crowd the kids and I went.... I have never taken my kiddos alone before but Boy Oh Boy did we have fun running from house to house and laughing all the way... Skyler got a bit bummed cuz some thought she was a witch and others a wizard but she was infact a VAMPIRE and a very Beautiful one at that... Tallyn was a skater and this he loved for the fact his legs were not tired as much from lack of walking... SO because we were so rushed to beat the rain I didn't get my camera out in time but yet grabbed my phone and snapped a few shots so I apologize for lack clarity but Hey... I was a Momma on a mission!!!!

I made Skylers costume and was very happy with how it turned out - although you cannot see all the detail the cape was Very Fabulous as were her Gliterry eyes.... All I can say is Thanks Halloween glad its DONE!

Pre Halloween Bash at school...

Okay, SO I KNOW i don't really have the halloween spirit but i try not to rub it off on my kiddos, but make SOME comprimises.... Today is the kiddos School Parties ( since NO school tomarrow), so it was free dress day ( hence no uniforms) and ALL kiddos could wear costumes but there will be NO parade!! I being the CRAZY mom who hates spending hours to make a costume and wants it PERFECT for Halloween opted for something else for sky to wear - keeping in the spirit of course!! So I got her a cute shirt from good O'L Target and found the same skull pattern on material from Joanns with mesh of course to put underneath.... Made the cutest skirt- Jazzed up her hair... Made a fab headband to compliment the colors of her ensamble... and Whalah..... My cutie pie looks Fab and let's just say- SKYLER was SOOOOOOO excited that she said, " This is Totally better then wearing my Costume Mom... LoVe It" with all her cuteness and sas..... ahh so i was smilen from ear to ear that she was soooo happy and thrilled for the un Costume attire.... My cutest (12yr old) Tallyn was a real simple 'Costume" .... aka: Ryan Shecler.... also known in mom terms SKATER... I scored... hands down easy as pie... Take one darling boy to Target ...slap on a pair of skater pants and a Super cozy and COOL flannel shirt... and Whalah ...SKATER!!! This Tallyn wore to school - now this was Great:) I am coming to an end with Tallyn dressing for the holiday and he informed me this was going to be his last yerar..;( It's getting official, my kids are growing too fast and I am getting Older..boooo hooooo hooooo
So here is some pics before School:

Thanks for looking:)

Introductory Kit with CD

Single

As an additional tool for sharing dōTERRA® with customers and new consultants, the Introduction to Essential Oils Kit includes the introductory audio CD and booklet and a 5 ml bottle of dōTERRA's Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint essential oils. The stunning presentation box also includes suggested uses of the included oils providing your prospects with an immediate experience of the life-changing benefits of essential oils.

I have been using Doterra for just over a month now, and like all things i was very sceptical at first but as i have quickly learned I wasn't getting scammed into something Crazy. I love this intro pack (it's what i bought due to the low cost and variety) due to all the different uses and opportunities i had with 3 simple oils. I have a VERY hard time sleeping as does many others, so i put Lavender on my face at night and let me tell ya- The best sleeps ever.. put it on my kiddos and it whisked them right into dreamland... My dad came to visit and he has arthritis in his thumbs- told him to try the peppermint (he thought i was NuTs) but in the morning he asked " may I have MoRe" i laughed and sent him home with in order in my hand and a sample pack in his:) It really is very simple and SOOOOO healthy for anyone and any age... I suffer from horrible adult acne ( which may I add is really depressing since my face was crystal clear as a youth) and although i am still trying to find that perfect regimen of oils they are helping it get under control - I hope it will soon get less noticeable... I am going this route only because I have spent sooo much $$$ on Dermatologists and nothing works. And there now you have it- My spill is over but my thoughts are simple- If you are interested in trying some oils i am a rep for Doterra and you can link up to my webpage or call me if you would rather chat:) Have a Fabulous week to all!!!
