I sit here with tears in my eyes... My baby girl who gave me a run for my sanity, that fought, kicked, and made my stomach nauseous for almost 8 months, who had Colic like no doctor had seen, who didn't walk but sat on my hip til 18 mo old, who didn't talk only barfed every time ANYONE looked or talked to her, who stopped all forms of eating at 2mo old and had to survive on whole milk via sippy cup at 2 mo old, who is the absolute sparkle in my eye, my happiness when sad, my cheerful, loving, BEAUTIFUL, kind, and loves life Baby girl ( not really a baby anymore) Miss Skyler Paige!!
Where did 8 years go.. No really , seriously, no kidding around folks, WHERE did it GO??
I'll tell ya.. yup it's all right here in front of me... I am the luckiest Mom in the world.. I begged God to give me a son and a daughter so i to could have or hope to have the type of relationship i have with my momma... Yes, this is true we all have good and bad even ugly but no matter what we can always say - I love you my beautiful princess:) The one birthday party i will never forget so long as my memory serves me is the one when i was 8... My mom went all out, yes she did, but my lovely mom always did and still does0 no detail is forgotten.. anyway, she gave me a birthday party theme: "Dress up like momma Tea party" if only she took pictures i would have posted them.. All the girls arrived in their moms large brimmed hats( yes because I aM that old..) long gloves, high heels, and favorite dresses.. my daddy escorted all the girls to our back yard which entailed a LONG buffet table table dressed in fabric and Flowers and lovely table settings, we ate tea sandwiches, drank yummy Lemonade (TeA) and had crafts with even a pinata'... My mom made a bonnet cake and gave fabulous favors to all my friends...Well I always said i wanted to give my daughter the same thing so i tried my best and this is what we did....
We went Here and Marveled at all the Beauty....
WE ate yummy finger sandwiches and Beautiful Vintage accessories accompanied our presence!
This is the Birthday girl dressed in her Birthday Attire :) We are now watching the girls arrive..
