Oh my my... these past few weeks have been so nuts. To start with can i just say, COLD & FLU season needs to END... I don't think my kids have ever been this sick before, everyone says it is so bad cuz the weather changes so much but I am DONE with it all. If it's not my kiddos then it's my poor parents which then pass it again to kiddos, what a vicious cycle that i hope has ended. Tallyn just got back from Nascar with his dad in Las Vegas where, of course he had a blast.. Skyler was not able to attend so she and I had lots of girl time, Shopping..Shopping & did I mention Shopping. Skyler got her first American Girl doll which i really tried to pursued her from getting (since she NEVER wants to play with dolls) but I think the Excitement of being in that huge store with so many other little girls just made it better. But like i guessed the glory ran off two days later and there sits the doll on the couch along with all the$$$$ it cost- gosh the things we do for our kids and the money wasted on Material things. Skyler never cries over anything when we are in a store and I say NO but that day she did and my guilt ran over me when she looked up at me with water filled eyes and said " But I thought this was supposed to be MY SPECIAL WEEKEND " since tallyn got to go on vacation- What was I going to say then???? I just hope she might have an interest here soon enough, if not OH WELL. Tallyn got home and was able to start the STORM TEAM for Karate, he really enjoys this sport. I think it helps build his confidence as well as coordination- although for a Boy he is pretty coordinated... Tallyn just keeps getting older and older which means so do I. I crack up at the things he says to me sometimes, but the VERY BEST part about TALLYN is how loving he is too me. No matter what happens good or bad tallyn tells me so much how much he loves me and that make my heart so happy to hear, even when he has those bad days I remember the " I LOVE YOU's". Skyler too is very loving and just keeps shinning with her personality.. She makes me laugh too at the things she will come up with- 5years old going on 20.. Skyler got glasses not to long ago and is doing so well with them, she never complains about having to wear them- I wish i could say the same... I too had to get them and was less enthusiastic seeing how I only had laser surgery three years ago to avoid this but something don't last forever I guess---ahh to be young again. I just started another new blog which will entail my new Photography work.. I just cannot get enough and would like to eventually have a career in this field but for the meantime Oral Surgery is for me! I really like working even though tackling everything else in a day can get overwhelming too.. Look at my new blog and tell me what you think, I hope you enjoy it!
