First Day of School..

Its The First Day of School and I know 2 kiddos NOT excited!!! We were rushing so the pictures are probably not the best and I am sure you can tell the child not happy with momma taking the dreaded First Day Pic:)

Well another year has started and Tallyn will be entering 7th grade and lil' miss Skyler is now a 3rd grader... Holly molly- when did they get so big:)
In Channing Hall tradition- School uniforms are a must ( which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE), but for the kiddos not so much.. For them we really only get to enjoy the shoe shopping and back back hunt- this year for Tallyn, the shoes craze is  colorful Nike high tops 6.0 (1980's when i was in school have resurfaced), and for Skyler, Toms in glitter pink were just what she had to have:) we of course did the basic ballet flat in gold and both got Athletic shoes for PE.. I must say this is the kind of school shopping I just adore!!

Happy Labor Day to ALL!!

As I am sitting here attempting to post something- when really i should be doing my list of chores, I am realizing that Summer is over and I am not sure I even participated.. I mean I know i felt the warmth on my cheeks and the hot August nights- but did i really experience it? I feel like as the years go on and the older I get, summer ( my favorite time of year ) goes faster and faster... Well I can at least say i managed to capture a few shots of what I do remember.. I think my favorite memory is going to be the Bills Family Reunion with not all but A Significant amount of family:) This is the most important thing to me and unfortunately I doesn't happen often enough.. I have been blessed to be a part of an amazing family and I only wish we can do more events more often- I know everyone Loved every second...
So bare with me as I post only a few but still enough of Family memories of Summer 2011!!!

Rooms of Desire and Relaxation... or so I wish

My favorite thing about design is EVERYTHING!! I love to collect insight from others as well as share fantastic thoughts, visions, and dreams for that Perfect Place...

With creativity comes a world with no end and for this I am not only grateful but always excited for what may occur in my brain while trying to either Sleep at night or simply get thru my day...

 This is a must for my future and it should be for your too!!

Today, just like yesterday, I have a thought that i have found Stuck and not willing to exit at any point in time...What shall you ask could be this thing nagging me to death... WELL..... I cannot say just yet but i will say its definitely my favorite thing yet... Texture, textiles, colors, soft plush yumminess ( if that is a word - it is going to be now )... I have this passion to dream big and conquer all that I can... I often stumble on the silly little words.. How...why this, i doubt it will occur, or even I have the largest challenge with NO! I am pushing thru all those nasty little words and instead all i am going to say - like a train named Thomas once thoughtfully praised... "I think I can, I think I can".... And I WILL:) I am a mom that not only dreams for the world to be experienced for and by my children but for myself too.. I want to travel and photograph the million desires of the world and experience the wonderful appetites that feed my soul... With this dream i will work hard and make it a reality someday.... Now on to some favorites for my weekly postings to challenge your inner designer and if not Call Me ... I can certainly help with your vision... Love to all and a fabulous week to everyone:)

This is the Formal Living Room and the Dining Room that was just completed... Our customer had a few pieces that were a must to work with and we did just THAT!!

The Rug was our inspiration for Color and boy was it Fabulous... We went with rich plums, greens and reds that worked just perfect with the brown leather couch and dining set...
