Where O Where does the time GO!!!!!

Well for starters our family is All back together in Utah and the kids couldn't be any more thrilled.... I have been so busy that blogging has been at the VERY BOTTOM of my list and with that said I will try to fill in all the Blanks.
In July over the 4th we all took the VERY LONG drive to Yellowstone and Jackson hole for a little Mini Vacation- I was not as thrilled seeing how the thought of being in a car again for a road trip was not my idea of Fun and with us just having to spend 28 hours driving from Tx to Ut in a moving truck- Yea not to excited about getting back in the car... Well and to add to it Scott thought it might be fun to try a New Route which took almost 2x longer... Ahh oh well we got there safely and spent the next 2 days driving ALL through Yellowstone National Park and then on to my Fav Jackson... I think I could live there actually- So Beautiful. Our trip was great and the kids had fun seeing all the animals and beautiful scenery- and of course all the craziness that occurs while being in the car for too long:)
After out vacation we have had fun times at the baseball park wathing Scott and all the men play Softball. We too have had lots of fun going to the Lakes and camping trips- with and with out the RAIN!!! We have had lots of fun playing with cousins and sleepovers.
I think the big fun was my baby boy( well not anymore but you know what I mean) Turned 11 on August 12th!!! Oh my gosh why does time go so fast when your kiddos are involved. Tallyn wanted to take his NEW Friend Daxton with us as well as all his family to the Riverton skate park for some fun and then we went to Fogurt yogurt for some yummy treats!! Tallyn had a blast and we stayed til dark. Thanks so much for all tallyn great gifts and love... Oh did I mention my son wanted a rip stick and he is SO AWESOME on that thing- truely I am amazed how anyone can ride that thing.... And lets not forget what a Horrible mother I am cuz everyone knows me and my obsession with photography and with all the kaos of getting everthing in the car for the picnic and party - YUP I forgot my camera- thank goodness Jan brought hers but for now I have no pics of Tallyn's fun night--- I felt Horrible!
Did I mention that on the last day of School in Texas I took my kiddos to the park and after one minute of being there my cute little Skyler fell off the monkey bars and YUP... Broke Her Arm- YUCK! Not a way to start the summer, but she was such a GREAT Sport with wearing her cast(which was red) and never complained.
I hope I filled you in on our Summertime madness- now School time is to begin....
Tallyn and Skyler were accepted into Channing Hall just one week before school started- I was overcome with Excitement! My kiddos were a little less than enthused when they found out A) Uniforms are to be worn B) School starts on the 16th C) Did I mention uniforms- this I was thrilled about;)
I am now trying very hard to find a job but until then I will be keeping busy with long overdue projects that I have been putting off.... Have A Great Day!

Giddy Up Cowgirl..

Happy Birthday Skyler!!!

Skyler is turning 6 on friday, so we had her party on Sunday so that all her friends could come. We all went to Hopper Ranch for a little Hoedown just for her! Well let's just say she had the BEST TIME EVER... Skyler just loves horses and when we left she loved them even more... She asked the very second we got in the car " Mom,when are we going back for my riding lessons" Oh boy I may have started something or else I have a little COWGIRL in training! I wouldn't mind this seeing how I sometimes feel like I have a little country girl in my soul myself!! I am so sad to see my baby girl turn 6 cuz she is NOT a baby anymore "this she so often reminds me of", but I always tell her she will always be my baby FOREVER....The Ranch was such a fun place to have her party and I would love to go there again- Tallyn thought it was a blast too. Our family loves to put on our BOOTS and go Cowboy up! This is more fun now that we are here in Texas, just a bit more fitting- ya know y'all!!

This is for YOU Caroline-- Skyler Misses You!

Skyler & Caroline Quickly formed the sweetest friendship on the first day of school..When I picked her up that first day of Kindergarten it was Caroline This and Caroline That, needless to say this carried on every day after that... This little girl is the Sweetest little thing ever! On May 1st we had to say goodbye which left Sky in Lots of tears that her VERY BEST FRIEND was moving away to Oklahoma.. I was sad to cuz the Earnst Family was Great and they will be missed dearly, but we wish them all the luck in their new home and town- but I have cherished the friendship my daughter formed with this sweet little Caroline!!! Ha ha just like the song by Neil Diamond " Sweet Caroline" oddly enough which happens to be a favorite oldie!!!

Here we have Jared..Tallyn..George... these boys are awesome and I know Tallyn will really miss them when we move... It cracks me up to watch as tallyn and his friends text eachother and talk on the phone, I mean when I was his age we never had phones, I don't even think Pagers were invented yet!!! I am OLD... never thought this day would come when I see a teenager quickly approaching-YIKES.. We have had the interest of girls come upon us and let me just say--HELP!!! I am NOT ready for this chapter of life, it seems like just yesterday I was bringing home my precious little boy weighing in at only 4lbs 12 oz...boo hoo I wish I could get those years back... I know that when this hits with Skyler I will really be sad since she is my baby and momma Ain't having anymore kiddos-- life really passes us by too FAST!

Boy oh boy, does Skyler love school even more important she LOVES to PREFORM!!! Skyler is so full of personality that I get a kick out of watching her... Here Talyn sits in the crowd watching little sis on the Big Stage.. I have loved both tallyn's teacher Mr.True and skyler's teacher Mrs.Funk- They were so Incredible that I am sad as are the kiddos to be leaving behind their great school and even BETTER Teachers... So long 2008-2009 year in Texas...only 21/2 weeks of school left=(.

Family Photo Shoot!!! Another Year Older...

Okay... I love photography sooo much but seeing how I am the only one always missing in the picture cuz I am the one taking them, I have Our Family pictures done EVERY YEAR at this time!! I love to look back on all the photos and see how much we have changed and how much OLDER we Are getting!! This was done over Mother's Day Weekend in Dallas, located in Las Colinas. This was my gift to myself this year..ha ha! I wanted to have my mom in some of them because I have never had pictures done with my mom and seeing how it was all about MOM's this weekend I wanted to include her. I love my mom and was so glad to spend this holiday with her this year, I haven't ever spent Mother's Day with her since I became a mom almost 11 years ago... Wow!! I can't wait too see all the photos, Jenna just sent me these few until the rest are done- Anticipation is killing me...

I was glad to have been given two of the most important gifts in my life because of Scott!! This past year has been a HUGE rollercoaster, to say the least! Scott and I got divorced last summer and as many of you know that may or may not have been a suprise... We are always going to be good friends along with working together as best as possible seeing how the kiddos and I live in Texas now.

Hair Loss....

So... My little Skyler, who is obsessed with growing her hair out LONG again decided to play beauty shop in hopes that by CUTTING her hair it would infact grow faster... Yup-She did just that CUT HER HAIR!!! I came uncorked on this little girl of mine. Seriously, i could not believe my eyes when my mom showed me the baggie with the hair clippings in it... I knew right away which child it was, I was just afraid to see where it was. The funny thing about all this, it was actually the next day before I knew any of this occured- So really it wasn't that bad cuz i didn't notice it in the morning while i was doing her hair for school. On the otherhand, I was very rushed that morning and just quickly threw her hair in a ponytail and out the door we went. Luckily, Skyler took some thought into her process and only took the top layer of her hair and cut layers into her hair that were about 4inches shorter than the rest... BUT STILL!! I told her i was going to Cut it all off seeing how she thought that it was necessary to cut it her self, and my oh my that child FREAKED OUT!! I told her She will just have to wear it up for the next little while but if she ever thinks of doing it again I WILL CUT IT OFF- she said" I Swear, I WON"T, PROMISE MOMMY, please don't cut it off- PLEASE!!" I never had to think about this type of thing with Tallyn... What is it with little girls and scissors-REALLY!!
